In this article we want to talk about some products applicable in different initial crop stages (rooting, sprouting and growth) and do some recommendations especially referred to organic farming
As is known, this cultivation regime has the following peculiarities: disregard the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, the use of organic and mineral amendments to conserve or in this case, restore soil fertility and avoid creating pollution, the use of crop rotation and alternatives or, the use of genetically modified organisms.
Organic farmers seek in their work to allow the soil to nourish crops, avoiding synthetic fertilizers (mainly nitrogen) that percolate through waterways and aquifers and cause their contamination.
The organic production regulations allow the use of certain products to complement amendments, for which they must be duly authorized
Let’s see the products in two cases:
- Rooting
- Sprouting
Authorized products in organic farming for natural rooting stimulation
In organic farming, we have to resort to natural means to promote rooting. Next, we list the organic fertilizers that have been successfully used either to root transplanted plants or to promote roots development of woody or already rooted plants. We will use the following products and their particular properties for this:
SM-6: gets an initial root stimulation, favoring cell division.
TERRABAL BIOLÓGICO: affects root growth nurturing cell development through amino acids.
The result of the action of these two products gives the plant´s ability to explore soil and thus to obtain water and nutrients, this being a cornerstone of organic farming strategy.
The most striking features of these products are:
SM-6 >
Is a natural Ascophyllum nodosum extract, and has a cytokinetic activity equivalent to 2,000 ppm of kinetin thanks to which is able to induce root growth and their development.
TERRABAL BIOLÓGICO >
Favors also rooting and crop beginning. For this purpose can be used in drip irrigation once rooted plant. Irrigation applications can be supplemented with foliar applications to limit post-transplant stress and stimulate sprouting and growth.

Natural stimulation of sprouting and growth at organic crops
When the plant has taken root should stimulate growth naturally, especially if soil or weather conditions are adverse (salinity, water shortages, pest incidence of or diseases).
SM-6 y TERRABAL BIOLÓGICO can be used. SM-6 and BIOLOGICAL TERRABAL can be used. As it happened in rooting, these two products complement their modes of action causing a powerful and harmonious vegetative growth.
SM-6 in foliar spray stimulates a good plant architecture, allowing balanced growth in height and horizontally. Likewise, it favors resistance at limiting conditions, nutrients assimilation and the elaborated sap affluence to growth points.
The standard application dose is 2 cc / L, although it can range from 1 to 2.5 cc / L.
TERRABAL BIOLÓGICO, applies during growth in localized irrigation at a rate of 5.10 L / ha. Applied in irrigation stimulates root growth, nutrient uptake and overcoming stress episodes. For same purpose it may be foliar applied at a rate of 2.5 cc / L.
Its use promotes biomass formation and stimulates fruit development, even with limiting factors. In harvestable leaves crops , promotes production, making it an ideal complement to fertilization.
AMBRA COMPLEX provides a vital trace elements set in an assimilable form so that the crops complete their cycle optimally. Its formulation allows use in organic farming under technical supervision to prevent or correct onset of deficiencies that limit yields.
It is preferably used in irrigation at a dose of 1-1.5 kg / ha and application, on a weekly or biweekly basis as needed.
